[Hiring] Managed Services Consultant @Salsify

Role Description

Salsify is seeking a Managed Services Consultant to help enterprise customers achieve their business goals through ongoing operation and optimization of the Salsify PXM platform. You will manage multiple customer engagements, translate business needs into practical solutions, and execute the technical and operational work that keeps product content and syndication processes running effectively. This role calls for sound judgment, ownership, and the ability to build trust while working through complex customer challenges.

What you will do

• Own day-to-day delivery across multiple managed services customers, balancing planned work, recurring operations, and emerging priorities.
• Understand each customer’s goals, pain points, and operating context; recommend and implement solutions that improve their use of Salsify.
• Configure and troubleshoot Salsify PXM and related retailer workflows, including complex or nonstandard requirements.
• Support work involving retailer portals and the Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN), coordinating issues through resolution.
• Manage customer expectations, communicate progress and risks clearly, and propose workable alternatives when a request is outside scope or the initial approach is ineffective.
• Deliver services on time and within the agreed scope while maintaining a positive customer experience.
• Partner with internal teams, including Product, when needed to investigate issues, validate solutions, or pilot new service offerings.
• Share knowledge and continuously develop expertise in the platform, retailer processes, and customer use cases.

Qualifications

• At least one year of hands-on experience with retailer portals such as Amazon Vendor Central, Target Partners Online, Home Depot IDM, or Walmart Supplier One.
• At least one year of experience working with GDSN.
• At least two years of experience supporting enterprise customers through the launch or ongoing operation of a platform.
• Ability to prioritize and deliver work for several customers at once with limited oversight.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to make sound decisions when requirements are incomplete and to adjust course when a solution does not work.
• Clear customer communication, good judgment in managing scope, and the ability to handle difficult conversations constructively.

Preferred qualifications

• At least one year of direct experience with Salsify PXM.
• Experience piloting new service offerings or resolving complex custom configurations.
• Experience mentoring colleagues or sharing knowledge across teams.
