Role Description
The Koch Internship Program (KIP) is a paid, 10-week experiential learning program run by Stand Together Fellowships that offers meaningful work experience at non-profits all over the country tackling some of our nation’s most pressing challenges.
- Interns will participate in virtual professional development sessions every Thursday from 1-5 pm ET.
- Mentorship by seasoned professionals while crafting a capstone project on a relevant topic.
- Interns will receive either a $5,500 or $3,300 stipend depending on full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time (28 hours/week) participation.
- Successful candidates will interview with both non-profit partner organizations and Stand Together Fellowships staff.
Qualifications
- Students majoring in economics, accounting, or business, or students with other majors who have an affinity for numbers.
Requirements
- Ability to research state and local government finances in California.
- Assist financial experts in preparing both short articles and longer studies on taxes, spending, and government debt.
