Role Description

The Risk Prevention Specialist is responsible for the overall handling of dealer warranty and service departments training, audit counseling, and queries related to ESB and Warranty. Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing claims submitted by different OEM dealerships after reviewing the paperwork supplied during, before, or after an audit of a dealership.
• Receiving claims through various sources (i.e., system, reports generated by the OEM, manual reviews, etc.).
• Reviewing check requests submitted in the Ford system to ensure accuracy of entry of the claims submitted to the OEM.
• Reviewing claims data for multiple OEM systems service advisors and dealer audit risk prevention to elevate the chargeback burden on the dealerships.
• Traveling to dealer locations for audits and training as per requests from Warranty, ESB, or the dealership.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent required; some college coursework desired.
• Previous ESP or Warranty claims program knowledge is desired.
• Mechanical automotive background required.
• Familiarity with OASIS and ACESII is desired, but not required.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail is required.
• Displays professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers, managers, and coworkers.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments.

Requirements

• Analyze dealer information to determine the claims audit targets.
• Using multiple OEM systems, analyze claims data and look for anomalies.
• Set a monthly calendar of audit or training targets based on data analysis.
• Analyze various claims data to determine if claims are valid.
• Communicate any potential claim chargebacks to dealer-based OEM business rules.
• Provide backup support to Warranty specialist operations when needed.
• Identify process improvements and best practices as needed.
• Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned by management, including ad hoc reporting tasks or dealer inquiries.
