Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field or equivalent practical experience; a background in finance, economics, data, law, or a related field is an advantage but not required.
• At least 2 years of professional experience as a Fraud Analyst or in an analytical, operational, financial services, or related role.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with excellent attention to detail and sound judgment under time pressure.
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to document investigation findings and decisions clearly and accurately.
• Proficiency in data analysis and spreadsheet applications.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with a reliable work ethic and genuine interest in fraud detection and financial crime prevention.

Requirements

• Exposure to fraud prevention, payment processing, Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL), or financial services through academic studies, internships, or previous employment.
• Familiarity with artificial intelligence (AI), fraud detection systems, or case management tools.

Your Daily Tasks

• Review and resolve fraud alerts and cases identified by fraud detection systems while meeting established service-level targets.
• Investigate suspicious transactions and buyer behavior, gather relevant evidence, and document clear, accurate, and auditable decisions.
• Escalate confirmed fraud incidents and high-risk cases to senior analysts and support appropriate follow-up actions.
• Identify recurring fraud patterns and emerging fraud trends across assigned case queues, and report findings to the team.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and consistent case notes to support quality assurance and investigation standards.
• Collaborate with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and Compliance teams on cases that involve overlapping fraud and financial crime risks.
