[Hiring] IT Disaster Recovery Innovation & Automation Lead @EX Squared

Role Description

We’re looking for an IT Disaster Recovery Innovation & Automation Lead to support our client’s IT Disaster Recovery program through automation, process improvement, and technology adoption.

• Lead innovation and continuous improvement initiatives within the IT Disaster Recovery program.
• Identify opportunities to automate tasks, simplify workflows, reduce costs, and improve the resilience of critical applications.
• Develop business cases and implement automation and AI solutions to address operational challenges.
• Build dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Splunk, and ServiceNow BCM.
• Document and track enhancements in ServiceNow’s Business Continuity module and Monday.com.
• Provide technical and implementation support for IT Disaster Recovery self-service initiatives.
• Connect Disaster Recovery operations and development teams to support DevOps adoption and remove delivery roadblocks.
• Act as Scrum Master for the innovation team and facilitate Agile ceremonies.
• Collaborate with IT teams to define and consolidate data sources for internal and external audits and leadership reporting.
• Participate in forums focused on new technologies, best practices, and service improvements.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in technology, automation, or service improvement.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.
• Knowledge of SRE and DevOps practices for automating and streamlining workflows.
• Hands-on experience with scripting, Power Automate, AI tools, or other automation technologies.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Splunk, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of IT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity.
• Proven experience coordinating cross-functional development teams.
• Ability to translate business needs into actionable service improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical teams and leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements

• Certified Scrum Master certification.
• Experience with ServiceNow BCM and Disaster Recovery workflows.
• Experience applying automation or AI to recovery testing, recovery plan management, or operational reporting.
