[Hiring] Invoicing Consultant @Omnidian

Role Description

The Invoicing Specialist is responsible for researching invoicing discrepancies for the commercial business line with the goal of remediating them to the mutual satisfaction of Omnidian and our field service partner (FSP) quickly and efficiently so both parties can move forward with the invoicing process. They are also responsible for documenting and analyzing these discrepancies using a consultant mindset to find patterns in the data and create and propose solutions that will remediate them before they become invoicing issues.

What You'll Do

• Invoice Discrepancy Remediation (50%)
  • Use the data available in Salesforce and partner invoices to determine where the discrepancy originated.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to determine which discrepancies are valid and require updates in Salesforce to match the partner invoice, and which invoice discrepancies require a push back and conversation with the partner.
  • Log invoice discrepancies.
• Data Analysis and SOP Proposal (50%)
  • Analyze invoice discrepancy log to find patterns.
  • Use analysis results to address issues on the operations side in priority order by creating and updating SOPs to propose to leadership.

Qualifications

• Have a consultant mindset; you want to tackle problems by learning about them first.
• Experienced in solar and invoicing; commercial solar is a plus.

Requirements

• 2+ years of solar experience that involves technical troubleshooting; bonus if it’s on commercial systems.
• 2+ years of invoicing experience.

Experience That’s a Plus

• Salesforce CRM experience.
• Invoicing experience in a large, regulated environment.
• Commercial solar experience.

• We plan to have this role start around October 2026.

Compensation

• $40 - $55 an hour.
• Annual merit increases can bring your total compensation above this initial range.
• We eliminate the "negotiation tax" by placing candidates within the band based on verified professional experience and skill set.
