Role Description

The Industry BIN Licensing Manager is responsible for completing all the Licensing and other Network Paperwork for a new or existing client related to MasterCard, Visa, or one of the 20+ Networks/Gateways processed by Velera.

  • Completes all licensing paperwork for each new and existing credit union.
  • Manages MasterCard, Visa and all Debit and Credit Networks/Gateways for ATM, POS and Signature Programs.
  • Coordinates and completes licensing paperwork for new and existing conversions, deconversions, brand flips, name changes, mergers, liquidations and additions of networks or BINs.
  • Ensures completion of the documents including checking for required signatures of authorization necessary to join the various networks.
  • Confirms delivery of all documents to the necessary parties.
  • Provides appropriate work orders for projects, including request for licensing to network implementation.
  • Ensures that network accessibility is provided on schedule and according to client contracts.
  • Communicates with clients regarding questions and changes to the paperwork as necessary.
  • Communicates with the Associations and Networks regarding questions or issues required to complete the paperwork.
  • Takes the lead to work closely with Sales staff in completing the paperwork based upon the client start up or conversion schedule.
  • Interfaces with Sales and the customer on issues or information needed to complete the paperwork.
  • Accurately updates documents to represent the modifications agreed to by the client.
  • Coordinates the functions of different departments in order to complete the required paperwork.
  • Develops and maintains a tracking system to ensure necessary compliance dates are met with each network.
  • Tracks and provides regular updates to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Makes and implements changes as required by the Associations and Networks to ensure compliance with licensing rules and regulations.
  • Maintains and regularly updates a Bin Licensing Manual to reflect changes in requirements, or additions of new networks.
  • Must react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent work experience.
  • Two to three years related Industry experience or related position required.
  • Two years of project management experience.
  • Proficiency in word processing, excel spreadsheets and database software applications required.
