Role Description
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing supplemental insurance claims. This includes handling claims from intake through payment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in adjudication. You will provide exceptional customer service, resolve issues, and maintain effective relationships with claimants and stakeholders. Your duties also involve:
- Manage and process supplemental insurance claims from intake to payment (40%)
- Verify eligibility and adjudicate claims, including calculations and documentation (30%)
- Handle claim payments and manage issues related to misplaced or lost checks (10%)
- Identify, investigate and report potential misrepresentation of claims (10%)
- Drive continuous improvement and collaborate on workflow enhancements (10%)
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote environment is a requirement of the role.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1+ years of experience in claims submission, communication, eligibility verification, or processing
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail

Please note - the salary range for this role is listed below. In addition to salary, our package includes incentive plan participation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits, as well as an initial PTO accrual of 164 hours per year. Employees also receive 11 paid holidays and 2 wellness days per year. Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.
