Role Description

The primary purpose of this position is to provide research, technical review, and analysis for the Grid Resilience, and EDS Programs, serving as primary reviewer and ensuring compliance with program regulations, statutes, and rules.

  • This position is eligible for hybrid remote work, with a work schedule of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday.
  • For the first six (6) months, the incumbent will be expected to be physically at the central workplace located at 550 Capitol St. NE in Salem, Oregon on Fridays.
  • The incumbent will be expected to work at least six (6) workdays at the central workplace each calendar year and attend pre-scheduled in-person all-staff meetings.
  • The position will also be required to work at the central workplace on a more frequent basis with advance notice, as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a degree related to Energy Incentive programs that demonstrates the capacity for the knowledge and skills.
  • Two years’ experience coordinating or administering a program OR any combination of experience or education equivalent to five (5) years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skill requirements listed for the classification.

Requirements

  • Experience evaluating program guidelines and utilizing analytical skills and sound decision-making skills to assess compliance and ensure consistency in the application of program rules.
  • Experience conducting outreach and maintaining positive relationships with the public, stakeholders, diverse community/stakeholder groups, other agencies, utilities, and Tribal governments.
  • Experience maintaining a database, capturing data, updating data, analyzing data, generating reports, and reporting out to stakeholders.
  • Experience working in or with governmental agencies.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout the state, as needed.
  • Knowledgeable about renewable energy systems or energy resilience is preferred but not required.
