Summary As an Imaging Service Strategist at Hummingbird, you will take a leadership role in defining, implementing, and continuously improving Imaging service offerings to drive client value. You will act as the principal subject matter expert, be responsible for the creation of service specifications, inclusions, exclusions, and deliverables while collaborating with Operate, Performance Optimization, and Consulting teams. You will provide strategic oversight, lead early client implementations, refine services based on industry insights, and develop scalable playbooks to standardize delivery. You will bring imaging services to life by creating the enterprise-wide standards for how health systems should optimize scheduling, authorizations, and protocoling for diagnostic imaging while also developing the standard for how Hummingbird will operate these functions as a managed service. Responsibilities Employment Eligibility: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. FLSA Status: Exempt Compensation: $130,000 - $149,500, based on experience. Benefits Eligible: Yes. Travel: 25%-35% for client visits, training, and company events. Working Hours: Alignment with client work hours within the US. Work Location: This position is remote. You must work from a location within the United States with consistent internet service. Service Strategy and Specification Development Act as the primary subject matter expert (SME) and owner of service specifications and feature documents for assigned services. Inform and support the strategic roadmap for Contact Center service offerings, helping to ensure alignment with business objectives. Define service boundaries, including inclusions, exclusions, client journeys, workflows, and deliverables. Collaborate with Operate teams to define and align staffing requirements with service delivery needs. Partner with consulting teams to design scalable and efficient services that meet client needs. Conduct regular reviews of service specifications to ensure alignment with client expectations and industry standards. Service Communication & Education Lead executive briefings and presentations to ensure organizational alignment on service direction and goals. Develop communication strategies and materials to educate internal teams and external stakeholders on service offerings. Partner with Consulting and Learning & Development teams to create advanced training programs for team members and leadership. Early Client Implementation and Playbook Development Lead Minimal Viable Product (MVP) implementations at early adopter client sites, ensuring successful deployment and refinement of services. Gather insights from implementations to enhance service workflows, features, and delivery processes. Develop scalable playbooks that standardize best practices, tools, templates, and workflows. Sales and Business Development Support Serve as a SME on assigned services, providing expertise during sales calls, RFP responses, sales presentations, and contract negotiations. Contribute to the development of sales proposals, ensuring services are accurately represented with clear deliverables, timelines, and value propositions. Create and maintain staffing calculators and resource estimation tools to support accurate proposal development. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to refine messaging, positioning, and materials for assigned services. Service Maturation and Feedback Maintain and prioritize the service backlog, ensuring that high-impact enhancements are implemented in a timely manner. Partner with the Performance Optimization Leader to execute service improvement initiatives. Collaborate with Epic Charm Architects and the Technology & Data teams on the design, development, and testing of system enhancements that support service delivery. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and enhance consumer experience. Participate in benchmarking engagements, analyzing client service performance against industry best practices. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and track service performance against defined goals, making data-driven adjustments as needed. Required & Desired Skills Required Skills and Experience 6+ years of combined experience in patient access operations service delivery and diagnostic imaging operations and scheduling, plus one of the following: service design, product management, or strategic consulting, or Epic implementation or optimizations. Familiarity with Epic (EMR) Patient Access Applications, particularly Radiant and/or Cupid, with prior experience as an end-user super-user, or other hands-on capacity. Demonstrated expertise in defining, implementing, and refining professional service offerings. Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results on time and within budget. Proven ability to collaborate across functions, including consulting, sales, and operations teams. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on using data to drive decisions. Desired Skills and Experience Experience in healthcare, consulting, or professional services industries. Experience with both Radiant and Cupid and corresponding imaging modalities Epic certification one or more applications that are relevant to the service (placeholder – update application names per job posting) Experience participating or leading in Epic implementation or optimization initiatives. Experience leading and managing relevant healthcare patient access operations in a director-level capacity or higher. Familiarity with tools such as Epic Charm or similar platforms for service delivery and optimization. Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
