[Hiring] Head of Health Economics & Outcomes Research @argenx

Role Description

Join us as we transform immunology and deliver medicines that help autoimmune patients get their lives back. The Head, Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) leads and organizes a team of scientists and specialists to develop value-evidence supporting a large and growing portfolio. This person will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and decision makers to lead and support the planning, design, and execution of HEOR deliverables across all phases of drug development for more than 20 pipeline and marketed indications.

• Lead, align, and maintain HEOR evidence generation plans with RWE, Clinical Development, Regulatory, MA&EG, Market Access, and Commercialization.
• Lead and mentor a team of HEOR scientists who develop strategic value evidence generation plans and execute them.
• Lead HEOR organizational evolution to meet the needs of a growing commercialization organization.
• Partner closely with Market Access to align on local market evidence generation needs and key priorities.
• Support the team of HEOR Scientists to collaborate with argenx stakeholders broadly.
• Lead HEOR connecting with the internal and external community to keep abreast of developments.
• Lead broad evidence dissemination through high-quality publications.
• Partner closely with argenx MA&EG, RWE, and Patient Advocacy.
• Contribute as a member of the MA&EG Leadership Team.
• Participate as a member of the argenx government relations community.
• Conduct internal training on HEOR to educate argenx colleagues.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Health Economics, Epidemiology, Health Services Research or a related discipline (e.g., PhD, MS, MPH).
• Minimum 12 years consulting and/or working in pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
• Minimum 7 years HEOR experience.
• Experience working with markets worldwide, including US, Europe and Asia preferred.
• Experience developing and leading a growing team of HEOR Scientists.
• Ability to travel up to 30% of time as needed.

Benefits

• Annual base salary hiring range: $328,000.00 - $451,000.00 USD.
• Eligible to participate in short-term and long-term incentive programs.
