[Hiring] Head of Business Systems & Security @Reachdesk Ltd

Role Description

As Head of Business Systems & Security you will own the platforms Reachdesk runs on, the security programme our customers rely on, and the IT that keeps the company working. This includes:

• NetSuite, Salesforce, Workato and DealHub among others
• The integration layer and data definitions beneath them
• SOC 2 and access control
• The full device and application estate across our UK, US and Portugal teams

This is a broad, senior remit with real autonomy: you will decide how we use our systems, not simply keep them running. This is a rare opportunity to shape a systems function rather than inherit one. You will:

• Set the architecture, governance and roadmap
• Lead a small team of engineers alongside specialist delivery partners
• Work directly with the executive team and every part of the business that runs on these systems
• Carry a standing mandate to find the manual work across the business, automate it, and make every other team measurably faster
• Decide how Reachdesk adopts AI and make it part of how people actually work

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business systems, IT or BizTech leadership within B2B SaaS
• At least 3 years leading a function or team, ideally in a PE-backed environment
• Deep, hands-on ownership of an enterprise CRM, ERP and the integration layer between them
• Accountable ownership of a SOC 2 Type II or ISO 27001 programme
• Identity and access, SSO and device estate ownership at a hundred-plus headcount across multiple countries
• Strong experience with AI, using it daily in your own work
• Ability to translate technical trade-offs into commercial impact for any audience
• Pragmatic about buying versus building

Requirements

• Still hands-on in the systems themselves, able to walk through what you have configured, built or designed in detail
• Technical judgment to assess the right approach and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
• Genuinely strong with AI, able to identify real use cases and integrate them into workflows
