Role Description

The Client is seeking a Specialist - Mid-Level to provide standard GIS support services such as analysis and data processing, as well as support for the ArcGIS platform in the following areas:

• User management
• Data management
• Metadata creation
• Customer interaction

The contractor will assist users in the creation and maintenance of new projects, including but not limited to dashboard and web experiences. This position will be especially important in assisting the GIS Unit in bringing federally mandated ADA Compliance to all published items. The contractor will share the team's workload of supervising, auditing, and providing proper documentation to help new users comply with all security policies.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Good communication skills with GIS and non-GIS users
• Good customer service skills
• Ability to independently troubleshoot applications
• Knowledge of ArcGIS Online and Enterprise administration
• Experience with ArcGIS Pro
• Knowledge of Python and/or SQL
• Demonstrated ability to create and complete projects from initial requirements gathering to final customer acceptance
• Experience with publishing hosted and referenced services on federated and unfederated GIS servers
• Experience with Survey123, Field Maps, and Experience Builder
• Understanding of accessibility requirements

• Survey123, Field Maps, Experience Builder - Required (3 Years)
• Strong oral and written communication, translation of non-GIS meetings and requests to GIS outcomes - Required (5 Years)
• ArcGIS Pro - Required (5 Years)
• ArcGIS Online Administration, Web Mapping, and Cartography - Required (5 Years)
• ArcGIS Enterprise Administration & Server Management - Required (4 Years)
• Arcade & Python Scripting - Required (3 Years)
