Role Description

We are looking for a motivated freelance Bilingual Operations Communicator to join our remote start-up PET BRAND. In this role, you will play a crucial part in coordinating with our Chinese suppliers and logistics partners (3PL). As the link between our team and Chinese partners, you'll ensure smooth operations across our processes.

  • Maintain daily communication with Chinese suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to align processes and swiftly resolve any bottlenecks.
  • Monitor and optimise inventory levels in collaboration with our suppliers and 3PL partners.
  • Coordinate product branding and packaging specifications with our suppliers to ensure all products meet the desired quality standards.
  • Communicate about potential new products and the sourcing process.
  • Identify and implement process improvements with suppliers to enhance efficiency and optimise collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Freelance registration (or willingness to become a freelancer).
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in inventory management, project management, or operations is a plus but not essential.
