Role Description

Are you ready to lead and inspire a team of Loss Adjusters while delivering exceptional claims management services? As a Field Team Manager – Loss Adjusting Services, you will oversee the performance of a team of fee-earning Loss Adjusters within a designated geographical area. This role combines leadership, technical expertise, and hands-on claims management to ensure outstanding service delivery to clients, brokers, policyholders, and assessors. You will manage performance against key KPIs, provide technical guidance, review reports, and foster strong relationships with stakeholders through effective communication. This is a remote working role, with travel as and when required.

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of Loss Adjusters, driving performance against key operational and financial targets.
• Conduct regular one-to-ones, performance reviews and appraisals to support employee development and engagement.
• Partner with technical leaders to identify coaching, training and development opportunities.
• Personally manage a portfolio of claims, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
• Provide technical guidance and act as an escalation point for complex claims matters.
• Review and approve reports, ensuring technical accuracy, compliance and quality standards are maintained.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, policyholders and key stakeholders.
• Monitor workloads and ensure claims are progressed in line with service level agreements and business objectives.
• Foster a positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• In-depth technical knowledge of loss adjusting, claims handling, and insurance principles.
• Proven ability to manage performance against KPIs and deliver results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities effectively.

Requirements

• CILA and/or CII qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
• Vast experience in loss adjusting or claims management, ideally with team leadership experience.
• Proven track record of managing claims and delivering results in a fee-earning environment.
• Experience in preparing, reviewing, and approving loss adjuster reports.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
