[Hiring] Head of Markets / DEX GM @Launch Legends

Role Description

We’re offering a unique opportunity to join Launch Legends (and Autheo) as a part-time Equity Cofounder. Founded in July 2021, Launch Legends is at the forefront of bridging Web3 blockchain technology with the next evolution of Web2 integration—bringing businesses on-chain through enterprise-grade solutions, DePIN innovations, and decentralized financial infrastructure.

Autheo is recruiting the person who will own the exchange, not the listings. You will design and ship Autheo’s own spot and perpetual venue: a CEX-grade order book for crypto, and the first serious derivatives books on infrastructure, real-world assets, and agents.

Qualifications

• Shipped a live order-book or hybrid spot+perp venue with real open interest.
• Exceptional written judgment.

Requirements

• Can defend matching, latency, cancel/replace, funding, and liquidation failure modes in a working session.
• Designed or operated margin, insurance fund, and oracle policy under stress.
• Can specify an oracle and a liquidation rule for at least one non-crypto underlying.
• Will own the venue before salary normalizes, and can recruit the trading-systems and risk seats.

First 90-Day Deliverables

• Architecture decision memo: validator-run matching, zk-proven off-chain matcher, or native CLOB.
• v1 market list with an oracle source for every non-crypto underlying.
• Risk paper: margin, funding, liquidation, ADL, insurance fund, oracle manipulation.
• Market-maker term sheet and listing policy.
• Named candidates, or signed seats, for Head of Trading Systems and Head of Risk & Oracles.
• Testnet book criteria and the mainnet gate.
