Role Description

We are seeking a skilled, highly motivated English-Spanish Interpreter to join our 100% remote team in Latin America. Initially focused on OPI, this role offers a clear pathway to advance into VRI. You will be responsible for providing accurate, consecutive interpretation primarily in medical settings, as well as facilitating crucial communication in social services and financial contexts.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year minimum of professional experience in remote medical interpretation.
• Minimum C1 fluency in English. Valid certifications accepted from EF SET (4-Skill), TOEFL, or CAE.
• Proof of medical interpreter knowledge issued within the last 12 months. Accepted certifications include:
• ALTA Spanish fluency: Minimum score of 9 required.
• LanguageStat (PICSI): Passing score of 75–80% required.
• Complete mastery of medical and customer service terminology.
• Must currently hold, or be willing to obtain, HIPAA and FWA (Fraud, Waste, and Abuse) certifications.
• Willingness to successfully complete a standard background check via email.

• Minimum of Windows 10 OS and 4GB RAM.
