[Hiring] Event Manager @EVOTEK, Inc.

Role Description

The Event Manager is responsible for the logistics that go into planning and hosting events with the goal of enhancing our organization's image, improving client loyalty, and enhancing our brand-to-client experience.

• Creating a theme for the event
• Tracking the costs of the event
• Monitoring registration
• Ensuring the right staff are there for the event
• Reconciling final budget and payments for the event
• Researching and securing venues
• Planning and managing our events' calendar
• Negotiating quotes and agreements with vendors
• Assisting with event marketing
• Monitoring timeframes and budgets
• Delivering on event brief objectives
• Creating event strategies and managing event logistics
• Coordinating with key event stakeholders to ensure all event objectives are achieved
• Managing event budgets and related reports
• Brainstorming and implementing event plans, concepts and enhancements
• Maintaining budgeting and invoicing for all event-related expenses
• Liaising and negotiating with vendors
• Updating senior management on all event plans
• Managing event branding and communication to staff, attendees, and key stakeholders
• Managing event registration and sponsorship landing pages
• Ability to problem-solve and find effective solutions when unexpected hurdles or changes occur
• Developing event feedback surveys and processing event feedback following all events
• Handling all post-event reports

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience planning and managing corporate events
• Ability to travel; travel can range from 30-50% at times
• Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks at once
• Ability to coordinate with different vendors
• Strong communication skills and ability to communicate well with the entire event staff
• Incredibly detail oriented
• Amazing time management skills
• Expert level interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build relationships with event vendors and sponsors
• Project management experience
• Highly organized
• Proficiency in various event management software
• Risk management experience

Requirements

• Salary commensurate with years of experience, technical expertise and geographic location
• Compensation Range: $67,000-$85,000
