Role Description

The Automotive Blueprinter is responsible for preparing accurate and comprehensive estimates for vehicle repairs. This role involves:

• Assessing vehicle damage
• Determining necessary repairs
• Calculating labor and material costs in collaboration with technicians and other team members
• Ensuring all estimates are documented with precision
• Maintaining a high standard of organization and accuracy throughout the repair process
• Supporting overall workflow coordination to maintain efficiency, quality assurance, and exceptional customer satisfaction within the repair facility

Qualifications

• Experience writing estimates for an auto body shop or insurance company (required)
• CCC estimating software experience (preferred)
• Strong understanding of vehicle repair processes and parts
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable, team-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Work Environment

• Typical work environment includes desktop computing work using typical desktop computing equipment (laptop, keyboard, mouse, monitors, desk, chair) in an office environment and/or remote workspace environment

Physical Demands

• Ability to sit and use typical desktop computing workspace equipment - e.g. mouse, keyboard, monitor, phone - for extended periods of time
• Manual dexterity to operate a typical desktop computing workstation
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, using virtual meeting and communication tools such as email, Google Meet, and Slack
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds, if required
