[Hiring] Epic Application Analyst Associate @Advocate Health

Role Description

Will be a member of the Pharmacy IT team supporting the systems and workflows that help patients gain timely access to needed therapies. This includes medication access capabilities such as:

• Benefits investigation
• Prior authorization
• Financial assistance
• Patient access workflows

Responsibilities also include supporting Willow Specialty, e-prescribing, Surescripts-related functions, provider PDMP configuration, and vaccine registries.

Prefer certification in Epic Willow Ambulatory and/or Willow Specialty. 8-5 pm day schedule with potential on-call or project go-live after hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Computer Science or related field.
• Typically requires 1 year of experience in automated laboratory and/or business systems.
• Preferred remote locations in IL, WI, NC, GA.
• Fully Remote Role from states: AL, AK, AR, AZ, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, LA, KS, KY, ME, MI, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI, WV, WY.

Requirements

• Obtain within 6 months and maintain annual educational requirements for EPIC certification(s) as required by department.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

• Basic knowledge of computer operating platforms, applications software, and network software.
• Demonstrated analytical skills necessary to make sound recommendations based on data analysis and business needs.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access) or similar products.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with key leaders.
• Basic knowledge and ability in the use of project management software, tools, and methodologies.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, set appropriate priorities, and accomplish assignments in a thorough and timely manner.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Must have ability to perform work-related travel and may be exposed to road and weather hazards.
• Exposed to normal office environment.
• Must operate all equipment necessary to perform the duties of the job.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally.
• Sits the majority of the workday; also lifts, reaches, and bends throughout.
