[Hiring] Engagement Operations Coordinator @Bat Conservation International Inc.

Role Description

The Engagement Operations Coordinator helps BCI's growing Engagement Team operate effectively, respond thoughtfully to external audiences, and move important priorities from idea to execution.

• Manage a mix of operational, project-based, and public-facing work.
• Take ownership of defined projects and bring structure to emerging priorities.
• Coordinate across teams and improve the systems and processes that support the Engagement Team.
• Strengthen BCI's public responsiveness and support engagement and earned-revenue opportunities related to Bracken Cave Preserve.
• Coordinate major conferences and events.
• Provide operational and project support to the Chief Engagement Officer (CEngO).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in project coordination, operations, program administration, constituent engagement, events, or a related area.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects involving multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
• Strong organization, judgment, initiative, and follow-through.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to build productive relationships and coordinate across teams without formal authority.
• Comfort working independently and creating structure when work is not fully defined.
• Strong comfort with technology and willingness to learn new systems, tools, and automation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, distributed environment.

Requirements

• Experience coordinating cross-functional projects, conferences, or events.
• Experience working with members of the public, donors, supporters, volunteers, or other external audiences.
• Experience improving operational processes or workflows.
• Familiarity with CRM systems such as Raiser’s Edge, project management tools, or collaborative technology.
