[Hiring] E-Commerce Operations / Publishing Virtual Assistant @Linkage Web Development

Role Description

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable E-Commerce Operations / Publishing Virtual Assistant to support a US-based client with Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) and Etsy shop operations. The ideal candidate has experience managing Etsy shops, assisting with Amazon KDP publishing, coordinating ARC (Advance Reader Copy) programs, managing newsletters and email lists, and conducting keyword and competitor research.

Responsibilities

• Etsy Shop Management
  • Create and edit digital product listings, including titles, tags, descriptions, and images.
  • Upload digital product files and keep shop listings organized.
  • Conduct keyword and competitor research and organize findings in spreadsheets.
• Amazon KDP Publishing
  • Assist with formatting finished manuscripts and setting up book listings.
  • Upload book interior and cover files to Amazon KDP.
  • Enter book metadata, including titles, subtitles, keywords, and categories.
  • Review book files using the KDP Previewer to check formatting and accuracy.
• ARC Program Management
  • Post ARC recruitment calls in relevant reader groups.
  • Maintain spreadsheets tracking reader sign-ups, book distribution, and review status.
  • Send review copies and schedule reminder emails to readers.
• Newsletter & Email List Management
  • Manage reader-club email lists associated with QR codes in published books.
  • Deliver free bonus materials to new subscribers.
  • Prepare book launch announcements and ARC invitations.
  • Coordinate author group promotions and newsletter swaps with authors in similar niches.
  • Draft all emails for the client's approval before sending.
• Research & Administrative Support
  • Conduct competitor, keyword, and product research.
  • Organize research findings and information in spreadsheets.
  • Maintain organized digital files and documents.
  • Prepare simple weekly reports.

Qualifications

• Experience in Etsy shop management, Amazon KDP publishing, e-commerce operations, or a related role is preferred.
• Familiarity with digital product listings, book publishing workflows, and email list management.
• Strong research and administrative skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Proficient in Google Sheets and Google Docs.
• Ability to follow detailed SOPs and work independently.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage tasks and deadlines.
• Experience with the following tools is a strong advantage: Canva, Amazon KDP, Etsy Seller Dashboard, Google Sheets and Google Docs, BookBeam and BookSignal, BookFunnel, MailerLite, Amazon Ads, HeyGen.

• Someone with hands-on experience in e-commerce, digital publishing, or online shop management.
• A detail-oriented individual who can organize listings, publishing files, spreadsheets, and reader records accurately.
• Someone who can manage research and administrative tasks independently.
• A reliable professional who can follow established procedures and prepare email drafts for client approval.

Compensation

• $5 per hour
