Role Description

Seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual to lead as a Kinaxis solution architect for SIOP within the Digital Technology Integrated Business Planning (IBP) team. The individual will be responsible for designing and implementing supply chain planning solutions using the Kinaxis Maestro platform, by deeply understanding client business needs, translating them into technical specifications, and architecting customized solutions within the Kinaxis system.

The individual will have knowledge of the RapidResponse/Maestro modules such as:

• Demand planning
• Supply planning
• Inventory planning
• Sales and operations planning
• Capacity planning

While collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery, the candidate will essentially be acting as the technical lead for Kinaxis implementations across various supply chain planning domains. The candidate will be an integral team member for large- and small-scale advanced planning tool implementations.

The candidate will own shared understanding across the project spectrum from high-level business objectives to detailed functionality and will work with other developers towards building and validating solutions to meet expected outcomes. The individual selected for this role will work with internal teams as well as external partners including outsourcers and technology application vendors. This position requires hands-on experience in advanced planning tools such as Kinaxis RapidResponse, integration knowledge with SAP and non-SAP transactional systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and develop comprehensive Kinaxis solutions, including system configuration, data mapping, workflows, and integrations with other enterprise systems such as SAP ECC.
• Create detailed technical documents outlining system functionalities, data structures, and integration points within the Kinaxis platform.
• Provide SME during implementations of operations planning projects leveraging current planning applications such as SAP ECC, SAP APO, Kinaxis Maestro, and Talend/Databricks integration tools.
• Manage data mapping and integration between Kinaxis and other enterprise systems such as SAP ECC.
• Provide training to end users on the Kinaxis system functionalities and troubleshoot post-implementation issues.
• Possess deep knowledge of various Kinaxis modules such as demand forecasting, supply planning, capacity planning, inventory planning, and S&OP to tailor solutions to specific client needs.
• Provide guidance and support to the project teams around Kinaxis, coding, and best practices.
• Evaluate and recommend new features and functionalities to enhance supply chain planning processes.
• Coordinate system integration testing based on user or system design specifications.
• Provide application design guidance and consultation, based on a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools, and existing designs.
• Advise business partners on intended and optimal use of the Kinaxis systems and assist with process development.
• Ensure logic and design is in alignment with the core architecture of the systems/applications.
• Find and propose innovative solutions that enable process automation, leveraging best practices and technologies within the company's application processes and architecture.
• Analyze highly complex business requirements and problems to ensure logic and design is in alignment with the core architecture of the systems/applications.
• Analyze existing product software and recommend modifications which enhance operating capacity and meet business requirements.
• Assist in managing expectations with both business and IT stakeholders regarding functionality, scope, and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in configuring and supporting process design in Kinaxis Maestro/RapidResponse with strong understanding of the modules.
• Extensive experience with Kinaxis configuration, data modeling, and advanced features.
• Strong knowledge of Production Planning/MRP, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, and PP/DS and other advanced planning software such as Kinaxis Rapid Response/Maestro.
• Familiarity with data integration tools such as Talend/Databricks, system architecture, and database concepts within Kinaxis.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
• Have implemented Kinaxis RapidResponse/Maestro in multiple end-to-end life cycle projects.
• Experience with industry standard ERP system implementations (waterfall and agile methodologies).
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing business environments.
• Ability to lead technical teams or lead projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information System, Information Technology, or related technical field with 10 years' experience. OR a Master's degree with 8+ years of related experience.
• Highly self-directed and able to learn quickly with a solid ability to drive and deliver results.
• Excellent judgment, interpersonal skills, cultural awareness, and professional maturity with executive presentation experience, comfortable interacting with senior executive leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical experience and a working knowledge in SAP ECC MRP highly desired skill set in manufacturing environment.
• Experience in SAP S/4 HANA.
• Experience/knowledge working in an aerospace environment is highly desirable.
