Role Description

As the Drug Trend Management Pipeline Development Senior Manager, you work a standing book of drug cost, safety, and integrity opportunities across Part B and Part D. Your job is to dig in and figure out which patterns are worth solving for.

• Evaluate surfaced opportunities one at a time.
• Pressure-test the signal: determine if the pattern is real or an artifact of data pulling.
• Build the clinical and financial case for opportunities that survive.
• Characterize the problem and propose where the lever is.
• Feed false positives and near-misses back into the detection process.
• Grow into the pipeline over time as you prove your judgment on evaluation work.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in the pharmacy domain.
• 5-8 years of experience in managed care pharmacy, utilization management, drug trend, or program integrity.
• Population-level analytical instinct.
• Medicare regulatory fluency.
• Hands-on with standard claims data.
• Strong communication skills.
• Breadth over depth, outside the clinic.
• Aptitude to grow and improve processes.

Requirements

• Experience building or working alongside detection, suspecting, or FWA models.
• Familiarity with payment integrity, SIU, or actuarial workflows.
• Rigor with data understanding how open versus closed periods affect the read.
• Understanding of the matrix organizational patterns within a health plan.
• Deep domain expertise in drug trend management and pharmacy operations.
