[Hiring] Drop Service Installation Supervisor @Conexon

Role Description

We are seeking a Supervisor of Drop Service Installation to oversee daily field operations, lead installation technicians, and ensure efficient, high-quality fiber service installations. This role is responsible for:

• Technician scheduling
• Training
• Quality control
• Inventory management
• Coordinating service restoration efforts

The ideal candidate has experience in fiber installation, field operations, and team leadership, with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required (College degree preferred)
• 3+ years’ experience in fiber optic ISP operations/construction field
• Strong P.C. and Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to use optical test equipment including fusion splicers and OTDRs
• Safely operate a company vehicle
• Strong communication skills
• Initiative to work remotely with limited supervision
• Strong leadership skills

Requirements

• Connect Drop Service & Installation Responsibilities:
• Hire and train personnel on service, drop and installation processes, and procedures.
• Provide leadership to drop technicians.
• Ensure all field personnel are outfitted with necessary tools and equipment.
• Ensure proper processes are in place for maintaining all tools and equipment.
• Ensure proper inventory management practices are in place for drop and CPE installation materials.
• Oversee drivers of company fleet and provide leadership of proper vehicle usage and maintenance.
• Manage drop service technician scheduling.
• Develop and maintain service and install reporting/dashboards as needed.
• Complete EOD reporting requirements.
• 811 compliance.
• Quality control of both in-house and contract drop installation.
• Invoice approval.
• Manage storm restoration service process.
• Develop and maintain process for damage notifications.
• Manage service trouble tickets and drop restoration process.
• Assist OSP Construction department with troubleshooting as needed.
• Assist with management of Connect Complete projects.
• Build/maintain positive business relationships with our co-op clients.
• Travel to co-op clients as needed.
• Ensure drop service technicians assist Conexon Service and Installation Managers to maintain positive customer experience.
• Work together with Connect Sales/Marketing team & Co-op clients to determine causes of low performance & provide feedback on how to increase sales & penetration rates.
• Assist with escalated customer complaints/issues as required.
• Support RDOF regulatory field verification.
• Additional duties as assigned.
