[Hiring] Donor Development Manager @March of Dimes

Role Description

The Donor Development Manager supports the Executive Director and/or Director of Donor Development in positioning March of Dimes as a leader in maternal and child health care in the respective market as well as establishing effective partnerships and collaborations with:

• Corporations
• Foundations
• Community/corporate leaders
• Government officials
• Other community organizations/nonprofits
• Supporters

The Donor Development Manager is responsible for:

• Developing/stewarding a portfolio of donor relationships
• Mobilizing supporters to drive mission impact and increase overall revenue growth through fundraising campaigns
• Collaborating to execute year-round fundraising campaigns and event core tactics
• Utilizing constituent relationship management systems for managing revenue streams
• Reporting to the Associate Director, Executive Director, or Director of Donor Development
• Ensuring revenue goal achievement through developing/stewarding donor/prospect relationships
• Identifying and securing market volunteer leadership
• Generating/closing leads for mission investment products

• Diversified Revenue Portfolio
  • Ensures event core tactics are executed for best-in-class fundraising events
  • Maintains and grows a donor revenue portfolio
  • Increases local revenue by identifying appropriate corporate partners
  • Identifies diversified revenue opportunities that align with mission goals
  • Maintains a year-round revenue pipeline for various revenue streams
  • Identifies, recruits, and leads volunteer leadership for market revenue growth
  • Provides tailored experiences for donors throughout the year
  • Ensures data integrity of CRM by updating information daily
• Volunteer Leadership
  • Collaborates with market leadership to identify and recruit qualified volunteer leaders
  • Engages volunteers and advocates year-round in meaningful opportunities
  • Qualifies and activates candidates for volunteer roles for assigned events

Qualifications

• Proven ability to plan and execute successful fundraising campaigns and events
• Peer-to-peer campaign experience
• Proven success in cultivating and securing major and planned gifts
• Proven success in cultivating and securing corporate partnerships
• Demonstrated ability to work and cultivate relationships across various sectors
• Proven success in recruiting and retaining high-level volunteer leaders and board members
• Experience creating content for social media and email marketing
• Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
