Role Description

The Director of Outreach serves as the point of contact through networking, presentations, and strategic outreach for VOAOHIN Behavioral Health and community presence. Primary functions include:

• Developing a dynamic and innovative outreach plan that may include open houses and tours.
• Managing communications such as an open bed email.
• Developing or managing a continuing education program to target effective outreach and solid relationship building with the Department of Child Services, Criminal Justice, healthcare, and other important community partners across the state, specifically in geographies in or near VOA facilities.
• Short- and long-term census management and cultivation of a pipeline referral network.

Secondary functions include:

• A data-driven approach to analyzing referral, census, and intake trends.
• Conducting competitive market analysis.
• Building solid relationships with VOA program staff and developing a deep understanding of VOA’s services and programs.

The position is responsible for:

• Developing marketing and business plans for the achievement of revenue goals for behavioral health.
• Promoting VOA Ohio & Indiana as a whole.
• Analyzing current and past expense budgets, service deficiencies, referral pipeline, and revenues to provide recommendations for BH growth.
• Creating and implementing public relations, marketing, and/or communications strategies.
• Developing fundraising plans.
• Building and fostering relationships with constituents.
• Enhancing the organization's public image and brand.
• Ensuring easy and seamless access to behavioral health services for potential clients and referral sources.

Qualifications

• Bachelors; Masters Preferred.
• Driver License.
