Role Description

The Director of CGI’s Health Impact Area (CGI Health) is responsible for executing the strategy for CGI Health, translating the impact agenda into partnership direction, stakeholder engagement, and structured initiatives.

Reporting to the Managing Director of Health, the Director will serve as a strategic leader, driving partnership strategy and strengthening engagement with:

• Funders
• Government
• Private sector
• Multilateral organizations

This role will ensure day-to-day oversight of CGI Health’s portfolio of active Commitments and lead the development of new Commitments on a yearly basis through:

• Active identification
• Close collaboration with U.S. and global partners committed to making quality health care more available, accessible, and equitable

The Director will also be responsible for fostering new connections and strategic partnership opportunities to support the successful execution of health initiatives launched through CGI.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree required
• Master’s Degree with a focus on public health or international development preferred
• At least 10 years of professional experience in public health/healthcare in positions of increasing responsibility
• At least 2-3 years directing a team or multiple projects
• At least 4 years in a job with similar requirements at a substantially equal organization required
• International experience preferred: 12-14 years of professional experience, with 5-7 years managing people and program oversight

Requirements

• Proven track record of connecting partnership strategy and development with real world impact
• Expertise in program development and execution
• Experience in developing and managing partnerships and multi-stakeholder engagement strategies
• Deep knowledge of health systems strengthening, health financing, and global development/social impact landscape
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to engage senior technical leaders and executives across sectors
• Experience in fundraising or sponsorship cultivation and/or creating corporate engagement models and investment plans a plus

Benefits

• Compensation range: $137,000 - $142,000 annually, depending on experience
• This role is not eligible for overtime pay
• Generous benefits package at little to no cost to employees
