[Hiring] Deployment Strategist @Piston

Role Description

We're building the SAP/NetSuite of the AI era for mid-sized companies in the real-world economy, starting with their supply chain operations (buy, sell, stock, produce).

As a Founding Deployment Strategist, you will:

• Deploy the ERP that runs client operations and AI agents that work inside it.
• Ensure every client goes from signed contract to go-live on the promised date, running on Piston, with agents already doing part of the work.
• Lead client projects in industrial companies and write the deployment playbook for the team and system integrator partners.

This role is not a product or sales role; you are a deployment strategist.

Most ERP deployments take a year, but ours run in eight to twelve weeks and deliver:

• A new ERP that manages buying, selling, stock, and production.
• AI agents that read orders, recompute production loads, prepare purchases, and ask humans only when necessary.

Since day one, the founders have run every deployment themselves. With clients coming in faster than we can handle, we need someone to own deployments, working directly with the CEO.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing project experience.
• Two years or more managing client projects in an industrial environment, typically in consulting (operations, supply chain, transformation).
• AI-native, with practical experience using LLMs and building automations, agents, and prompts.
• Ability to translate client needs into system requirements.
• Comfortable engaging with clients at various levels, from plant directors to shop-floor operators.
• Fluent in English and French.

Requirements

• Experience automating real operations processes end-to-end.
• Experience taking complex B2B software live.
• Familiarity with manufacturing or food operations.
• Experience in Seed / Series A environments.

Benefits

• €45–60k + equity.
• Work with world-class peers.
• Be the first hire of the deployment team, writing the playbook for future hires.
• A front-row seat on how AI agents change real company operations.
• Regular company offsites (2–4 times per year) in great locations.
• Ideal equipment and setup.
• Remote-first (France), with about 20% of your time on client sites.

Process

The entire process takes no more than 2 weeks:

• 30-minute intro call with Florian (CRO).
• 60-minute deployment deep dive with Eric (CEO).
• 30-minute cultural-fit interview with Eugène (CTO).
• 2 days paid assessment on a real client situation.
• Offer: If it's a match, we move fast.

Company Description

Agentic ERP for real-world companies that think, advise, and execute workflows autonomously, enabling revenue growth while keeping teams lean.
