[Hiring] DataPower Engineer @S Base Technologies

Role Description

Seeking highly skilled IBM DataPower Engineer to design, implement and maintain security configurations for APIs & SOAP web services using IBM DataPower. Responsible for:

• Designing robust security policies
• Applying authentication and authorization protocols
• Implementing advanced security patterns including WS-Security, XML Encryption/Signature, and JSON Web Encryption (JWE/JWS)
• Ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of data across Internet and Intranet zones
• Creating and managing XSLT, GatewayScript, and processing policies to handle message transformation, validation, and routing
• Implementing threat protection mechanisms against SQL injection, XML/JSON injection, and DoS attacks
• Managing SSL/TLS certificates, crypto profiles, and mTLS configurations
• Performing deep-dive analysis of system logs and probes to troubleshoot connectivity, handshake, and authentication errors

Expert knowledge of XML, XSD, JSON, SOAP, and RESTful architecture. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, HTTPS, DNS, Load Balancing, and Firewalls as they relate to the DMZ and Gateway. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
