Role Description

PRM is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Credentialing Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Reviewing and processing applications for provider privileges
• Ensuring compliance with stringent deadlines
• Analyzing provider credentialing files for completeness and accuracy
• Addressing any issues or changes that may arise
• Responding to inquiries from providers through various communication channels
• Administering the re-credentialing process for Physicians and CRNAs while adhering to HIPAA regulations
• Assisting with special projects and process redesign initiatives as requested

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in provider credentialing
• Previous experience with provider credentialing/enrollment software
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Highly effective communicator with the ability to engage multiple stakeholders in various organizations
• Must be able to work well under pressure in a very fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Possess strong problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
