Role Description
Supports day-to-day activities required to maintain an effective organizational compliance program.
- Responding to regulatory inquiries and regulator interaction
- Assisting with issue resolution and implementations
- Assisting with audits/assessments to identify compliance risks
- Supporting the corporate compliance team in implementing corrective action plans
- Conducting compliance reviews to monitor ongoing compliance
- Researching, investigating, and evaluating compliance implementation initiatives
- Providing support to business areas by analyzing regulatory compliance issues
- Participating in risk assessments and/or audits
- Monitoring business systems for compliance to assure appropriate corrective action
- Executing assigned tasks within required timeframes for compliance team project work
- Assisting with training and communications programming
- Developing reports and presentations as needed
- Helping design, develop, and deliver benefit booklets and contracts
- Triage, research, and respond to NCDOI complaints, Smart NC requests, and escalated HICS cases from CMS
- Performing compliance reviews of marketing materials for commercial and/or Medicare lines of business
- Assisting with oversight of compliance programs and activities of delegated entities and contractors supporting Medicare programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)
- 0-2 years of experience in related field
- In lieu of degree, 3+ years of experience in related field

Salary Range
$46,500.00 - $74,400.00
