Role Description

The Clinical Trial Budgets role involves the following primary responsibilities:

• Clinical trial budget development and management
• Coverage analysis for clinical research studies
• Clinical trial contract review and administration
• Budget drafting from scratch
• Review, QA, and negotiation of budgets
• Managing sponsored research budgets
• Supporting multiple external healthcare/research clients
• Working in a fast-paced consulting environment

Qualifications

• Clinical trial budgeting experience
• Coverage analysis experience
• Medicare Coverage Analysis (MCA) knowledge
• Contract review and budget negotiation experience
• Strong QA and compliance review skills

Requirements

Ideal backgrounds for candidates include:

• Sponsored Programs Office
• Research Administration Office
• Clinical Research Office
• Cancer Institute or Academic Medical Center
• Healthcare organizations supporting sponsored research

Industry experience is flexible; oncology experience is preferred but not required.

Experience:

• Targeting primarily junior to mid-level candidates
• Ideal range: 3-5 years
• Open to candidates with up to 10+ years of experience if the fit is right

Education:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered

Preferred experience includes:

• Clinical trial budget creation and review
• Coverage analysis
• Sponsored research administration
• Clinical trial contract negotiations
• Multi-client consulting or managed services environments

• Reports to Manager who oversees the Clinical Research Office and Grants functions
