Role Description

We are seeking a Clinical Application Systems Analyst - Intermediate to support IT EMR Services with a primary focus on Epic ASAP and related clinical applications. This role is responsible for:

• Application support, system maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and workflow optimization.
• Ensuring system integrity and reliability.
• Collaborating with operational and IT teams to resolve complex issues.
• Implementing system enhancements and supporting continuous improvement initiatives that advance clinical and business operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED plus seven (7) years of experience supporting and maintaining computer systems, or
• Associate's degree in Computer Sciences, Nursing, or related healthcare field, plus five (5) years of experience supporting and maintaining computer systems, or
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Nursing, or related healthcare field, plus three (3) years of experience supporting and maintaining computer systems, or
• Post Graduate degree in Computer Sciences, Nursing, or related healthcare field, plus one (1) year of experience supporting and maintaining computer systems required.
• Epic ASAP certification required.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Epic ASAP and related applications.
• Knowledge of drug formulary, dispensing and ordering methods & products, processes and procedures used in a pharmacy.
• The ability to lead meetings, resolve conflicts, maintain issue lists, and manage a project plan.
• The ability to probe for information about the underlying needs of the organization and user community.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills.

Key Responsibilities

• System Build and Configuration: Configure, maintain, test, and optimize Epic ASAP and related clinical applications.
• Workflow Analysis and Collaboration: Partner with end users, operational stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams to analyze business processes.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex application issues and implement timely resolutions.
• Application Management: Monitor application performance, integrations, and security.
• Project Management: Lead or support application implementations, upgrades, enhancements, testing activities, and documentation.
• Professional Performance: Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members.
• May perform additional tasks as assigned to support departmental goals.
