[Hiring] Business Resiliency Specialist III @CareSource

Role Description

The Business Resiliency Specialist III develops and maintains policies, plans, and procedures for business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident and crisis management to sustain critical operations and restore services following disruptions. The role partners with business and technology stakeholders to assess business impacts, risks, and third-party dependencies; coordinate response and recovery; and validate readiness through training, exercises, and testing.

• Monitor emerging risks and applicable requirements.
• Support compliance and report on preparedness and recoverability.
• Implement improvements through lessons learned and corrective actions.
• Provide guidance, training, and work direction to less experienced personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Equivalent years of relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of required education.
• Five (5) years’ experience in Business Continuity/Business Resiliency, Disaster Recovery, and Incident/Crisis Management.
• Health plan, Managed care, process improvement and/or business analysis experience preferred.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of business resiliency standards and best practices, with experience implementing industry standards such as NIST 800-34.
• Familiarity with disaster recovery tools and techniques.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with advanced decision-making, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Process and/or workflow planning and design skills, with demonstrated success developing and implementing new practices and controls that deliver specific improvements.
• Strong project management skills.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills, with the ability to develop and accomplish goals.
• Experience in complex, high-growth business environments and the ability to navigate ambiguity by integrating, prioritizing, and rolling out programs without clearly defined guidelines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including critical listening and technical writing.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with a high level of professionalism and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management across the organization.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Customer service orientation.

Benefits

• Compensation Range: $94,100.00 - $164,800.00.
• In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.

Licensure and Certification

• Current Business Continuity Certification (DRII CBCP, MBCI, MBCP, MABR, or equivalent) preferred.

Working Conditions

• General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
• Travel is not typically required.
