[Hiring] Building Regulations Consultant @Confido

Role Description

We are working with an established compliance group looking to appoint an experienced Building Regulations Consultant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fully remote role, open to candidates across the UK, with flexibility to offer any preferred office presence where possible. Monthly team meet-ups are ideal but not essential.

• Provide building regulations consultancy and technical advice across a varied project portfolio
• Review and assess designs for compliance with Building Regulations
• Liaise with clients, designers and other stakeholders throughout the project
• Identify and resolve technical and compliance issues
• Manage your own workload while working remotely
• Opportunity to utilise Principal Designer (PD) experience

Qualifications

• Current RBI registration, ideally Class 2E+
• Strong knowledge of the Building Regulations
• Previous building control / building regulations consultancy experience
• Experience across a range of project types
• Class 3G/3H experience would be highly advantageous
• Principal Designer experience would be advantageous but is not essential
• Strong communication and client-facing skills

Requirements

• Fully remote – candidates considered across the UK
• £70,000 – £80,000 salary + package, depending on experience
• Permanent position with an immediate start
• Varied and technically interesting project portfolio
• Opportunity to develop both RBI and PD experience
