Role Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Black Belt Process Improvement Consultant to drive enterprise-wide process optimization initiatives across business operations and IT solution delivery functions. This role requires a self-directed process improvement leader who can operate autonomously, identify inefficiencies across complex matrixed organizations, and facilitate measurable operational improvements.

• Analyze end-to-end value streams
• Identify bottlenecks
• Implement performance metrics and quality controls
• Facilitate root cause analysis
• Oversee the execution of improvement initiatives

The ideal candidate possesses strong Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt expertise coupled with exceptional program/project management capabilities. This role requires a proactive change agent capable of influencing upstream and downstream stakeholders, driving accountability, and creating sustainable operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, Information Systems, or related discipline
• Master's Degree preferred
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification (Required)
• Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt Certification (Highly Preferred)
• PMP Certification (Highly Preferred)
• Prosci Change Management Certification (Highly Preferred)

Requirements

• 10+ years of process improvement and operational excellence experience
• Extensive experience leading Lean Six Sigma initiatives
• Strong expertise in value stream mapping and process optimization
• Experience improving both business operations and IT-related processes
• Proven success implementing operational metrics and quality controls
• Experience facilitating enterprise-level root cause analysis
• Experience managing multiple process improvement initiatives simultaneously
• Strong project and program management experience
• Experience influencing stakeholders within highly matrixed organizations
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive results with minimal supervision
