Role Description

This position is located in the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Office of Economics and Analytics (OEA) within the Auctions Division, located in Washington, DC. Relocation expenses will not be paid. This vacancy announcement may be used to fill additional positions within 90 days.

The incumbent of this position serves as an Auctions Operations and Implementation Specialist engaging in a variety of operational activities at every stage of the auctions process, including:

• Supporting the legal team in the drafting and preparation of complex public notices
• Configuring auction applications
• Identifying, evaluating, and coordinating auctions
• System implementation for the Auctions Division of the Office of Economics and Analytics

• Eligibility and qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement
• Current Federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement
• Specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 in the Federal service

Requirements

• FCC Employees Only
• Suitable for employment as determined by a background investigation
• Current FCC employees must provide SF-50 verifying grade & status
• Resume must not exceed two pages and must meet resume format criteria
• Currently employed in the Federal Communications Commission in positions serving under career or career conditional appointments
• ALL FCC EMPLOYEES MUST provide a legible Personnel Action, SF-50, that verifies your status and highest permanently held grade
