Role Description

The Airworthiness team at ePlane is looking for someone with experience in Mechanical systems specifically across airframe design, transmission systems, and landing gear to help work with regulatory bodies in developing appropriate standards for using ePlane’s electric propulsion and batteries for use in their VTOLs.

  • Composite Manufacturing
  • Airframe
  • Structural Analysis
  • CAD

Qualifications

  • Understanding of Composites systems and Mechanical Systems
  • Experience in developing safety critical analysis for aerodynamics and mechanical systems
  • Understanding of type certificate process
  • Understanding of Design Assurance Levels
  • Previous experience working with DGCA

Requirements

  • Prior experience in working on Type certificate or TSO of aerospace components
  • Previously worked on development of composite based drones or aircraft
  • Safety analysis of mechanical systems
  • Understanding of CS/FAR-23 or CS/FAR-27 regulations

Personality Traits

  • Written and verbal communication in English
  • Capacity to work independently
  • Multi-tasking
