Role Description

Temporary position for 12 months. As a life and health insurance advisor, you help develop life and health insurance processes and programs, prepare documents and insurance contracts, administer reinsurance agreements and settle contested medical matters. You advise and assist clients and partners and develop tools, methods and processes. Your projects and initiatives require extensive knowledge of your line of work. You put forward recommendations, solutions and action plans based on the organization’s objectives and priorities. You share ideas and help solve problems using your analytical skills and extensive knowledge of the line of business. You interact with stakeholders working in other fields. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential.

• Diagnose issues, challenges and needs to determine target outcomes
• Help develop and implement objectives, solutions, policies, programs and action plans
• Analyze data, conduct studies, make recommendations and write reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of French is required
• Intermediate knowledge of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
• Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
• Hold a valid driver’s licence for occasional travel within Quebec
• Action oriented, Business insight, Customer Focus, Differences, Interpersonal Savvy, Nimble learning, Persuades, Strategic mindset
