Role Description

We are looking for an Advanced Analytics Analyst to join our growing team. Operating across all stages of the innovation spectrum, with a remit to build the future in real-time. Our Data Mechanics work as part of multi-disciplinary teams and collaborate with:

• Designers
• Other analytics team members
• Data engineers
• Business subject matter experts
• Technology delivery teams

They deliver strategic research projects from design to execution, which may include:

• Research
• Proofs-of-concept
• The art-of-the-possible
• Real-world applications for clients

You will have a passion for data and technology, be prepared for a hands-on technical role, and be hungry to learn and develop your skills. You will be expected to follow the key technology trends in the analytics domain, understand the related business implications, and nurture and share new ideas.

Qualifications

• Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related scientific discipline
• Hands-on data analytics experience, ideally including exposure to areas such as statistical modeling, machine learning, data mining, and unstructured data analytics
• Knowledge of statistical and related tools/languages such as R, SAS, Python, or similar
• Awareness of techniques and tools for working with large data sets such as MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, and equivalent technologies
• Experience with or exposure to Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Neuromorphic Computing, Cognitive Computing &/or Artificial Intelligence
• Ability to work in a global collaborative team environment
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• NV1, NV2 Security Clearance Desirable
