Role Description

We have an urgent requirement from our implementation partner for a European client under a strategic Business AI Program.

Position: Gen AI Engineer (Senior Level)

Openings: 4

Location: Remote (Europe – Preferred: Germany / Nearshore countries such as Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Portugal, Austria)

Duration: 12 Months

Start Date: Immediate

Work Hours: 40 hrs/week (aligned to CET)

Project Context

You will be part of a high-impact Enterprise AI Program, building AI agents and GenAI solutions to streamline business processes and accelerate customer value delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade AI & GenAI solutions
• Build LLM-powered applications from PoC to production
• Work with SAP data ecosystems, including ingestion, transformation, indexing
• Implement CI/CD & MLOps pipelines
• Develop multi-agent AI systems
• Ensure security, scalability, and observability
• Create architecture diagrams, ADRs, and technical documentation
• Collaborate with product owners, data scientists, and stakeholders

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering
• Strong Python expertise (mandatory)
• Additional language: Node.js or Java
• Backend frameworks: FastAPI / Flask / Django
• Microservices architecture experience
• Hands-on with Docker & Kubernetes
• CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, MLflow)
• Cloud platforms: Azure ML / AWS / Databricks
• Strong experience in ETL pipelines
• API integrations
• Distributed systems
• Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban)

Nice to Have

• GenAI frameworks: LangChain / CrewAI
• SAP experience (SAP AI Core, SAP BTP)
• Jira / SAFe exposure

• Experience deploying production-grade LLM systems
• Exposure to enterprise environments & security practices
• Ability to work independently in a remote European setup
