Role Description

We are seeking a highly experienced AI Architect to define the vision, architecture, and data strategy for enterprise-scale Generative AI (GenAI) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) platforms. As a senior leader, you will own the end-to-end architectural design, lead advanced data modeling efforts, and ensure systems operate under a robust, governance-first framework. Beyond technical leadership, this role is highly client-facing; you will act as a trusted advisor to understand clients' strategic challenges, design innovative AI/Data solutions, and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Advisory & Business Development:
  • Work directly with client stakeholders and executives to deeply understand their business problems and translate them into scalable AI and Data solutions.
  • Actively identify opportunities to expand our footprint, driving new business and account growth through strategic consulting and solutioning.
  • Lead technical discussions, formulate proposals, and present architecture roadmaps to clients.
• Architecture & Data Modelling:
  • Design and own the reference architectures for enterprise GenAI, RAG platforms, and underlying data ecosystems.
  • Lead comprehensive Data Modelling initiatives, specifically architecting and extending the client's Silver Data Model (within a Medallion architecture) to ensure data is cleansed, conformed, and optimized for downstream AI, embedding, and analytics workloads.
  • Define the blueprint for end-to-end lineage across data ingestion, vectorization, prompt execution, and AI outputs.
• Data Quality & Governance Strategy:
  • Define enterprise-wide data governance standards, usage policies, and quality gates for AI workflows.
  • Architect quality and control frameworks to detect data drift, hallucinations, and low-confidence outputs, ensuring systems degrade gracefully or block responses when trust thresholds are violated.
  • Bridge the gap between regulatory governance requirements and technical architectural controls.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship:
  • Provide architectural oversight and technical mentorship to Leads (B3), Senior Engineers, and data teams.
  • Collaborate with enterprise security, platform, and data engineering teams to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Establish best practices for MLOps, CI/CD, and observability in production GenAI systems.

Qualifications

• 12-15+ years of industry experience, with a proven track record as a Data/AI Architect or Solution Architect.
• Deep expertise in Data Modelling and Data Engineering, specifically with Medallion architectures (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers) and data warehousing.
• Strong consulting and client-facing skills, with experience in pre-sales, solutioning, and driving business growth.
• Proven experience designing and architecting production-grade GenAI and RAG systems.
• Mastery of AI Data Governance, data lineage, and data quality frameworks.
• Hands-on architectural experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and Azure AI Services.
• Background in API design, distributed systems, MLOps, and observability.
• Strong awareness of Responsible AI, security, and compliance regulations.
