[Hiring] AI Automation Engineer – Agent Deployment & Integration @Brain Box Automations

Role Description

We're looking for a hands-on AI Agent Setup Engineer to deploy and configure an AI assistant system using OpenClaw and connected platforms. OpenClaw is an open-source personal AI assistant that connects across messaging channels and automates workflows through natural language.

This is a focused, project-based contract engagement. You'll own the full setup end to end — from environment deployment to handoff documentation — and be done when the system is live, tested, and fully documented.

What You'll Own

• Install and configure OpenClaw on a VPS or cloud environment — gateway, agent runtime, and channel connections
• Set up messaging channel integrations including WhatsApp, Slack, Telegram, and Discord
• Build and configure skills, cron automations, and webhook-based workflows
• Integrate with external tools including Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, and other APIs
• Configure security settings, permissions, and access controls
• Troubleshoot setup issues and optimize system performance
• Deliver a complete handoff guide documenting the full setup, configurations, and maintenance steps

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience deploying and configuring AI agent platforms or automation systems
• Comfortable working with VPS or cloud environments (Linux, SSH, environment setup)
• Experience integrating APIs and building webhook-based workflows
• Familiarity with messaging platform APIs (WhatsApp Business API, Slack, Telegram, Discord)
• Able to work independently and deliver without step-by-step oversight
• Strong documentation skills — the handoff guide is a core deliverable, not an afterthought

Requirements

• Prior experience with OpenClaw or similar open-source AI assistant frameworks
• Familiarity with n8n, Make.com, or similar workflow automation tools
• Experience with Google Workspace API integrations
• Background in DevOps or cloud infrastructure
