Role Description

You provide technical support to our European distributors and their installers, before and after the sale. You support our sales team with technical expertise, then make sure installers are trained, their questions are answered, and Spin Air chargers are installed and commissioned correctly. Roughly 40% of your time goes to pre-sales support and 60% to installer and partner support.

What you’ll do

• Pre-sales support
  • Support our sales team and distributors in customer meetings with demos, technical presentations and answers to technical questions.
  • Prepare technical proposals for commercial and multi-charger sites: power, load management, protection and backend integration.
  • Prepare technical responses to tenders and RFQs, including compliance and certification documents.
  • Train distributor sales teams on our products and their technical features.
• Installer and partner support
  • Build and run our installer certification program with distributors, and keep the register of certified installers.
  • Be second-line support for installer questions and field faults, and decide on repair, replacement or RMA.
  • Keep chargers connected to our remote monitoring system (RMS) online, and drive fixes when they drop off.
  • Get distributors and installers using our partner portal, including registering every installation at commissioning.
  • Hold regular technical reviews with each distributor and hold them to their support obligations.
  • Turn field feedback into clear, prioritised input for our product team in India.

In your first year

• A live installer certification program, with most installs done by certified installers.
• Partner portal registration standard practice at every distributor.
• Faster technical turnaround on customer and installer questions, with fewer repeat site visits.

Qualifications

• Electrical or electronics engineering degree, or an electrician qualification.
• 5+ years in technical sales, application engineering or technical support for EV chargers, solar, heat pumps, storage or similar installer-sold products, on both the pre-sales and post-sale side.
• Hands-on knowledge of low-voltage AC installation: protection, earthing and load management.
• Working knowledge of charger connectivity and OCPP.
• Experience training installers and working with distributors in Europe.
• Fluent English plus a regional language, and willingness to travel.

Nice to have

• Experience at an EV charger brand such as Wallbox, Zaptec, Easee, Peblar, Autel or ABB.
• An existing installer or distributor network in South or Central-East Europe.
• Familiarity with AFIR, the RED cybersecurity requirements and national grid connection rules.

How you’ll work

You work closely with our export sales team, who manage the relationship with distributors. Distributors provide first-line installer support in local language, and our support and product teams in India back you up on complex issues.
