[Hiring] System Account Manager II @Waters Corporation

Role Description

As a Systems Account Manager of South West Spain, you will be responsible for a territory of varied accounts managed through a consultancy and partnering approach to design and deliver solutions that benefit our customers. Accounts may require bespoke, cutting-edge solutions or off-the-shelf solutions. Our Account Managers balance and manage well-established accounts with a good installation base, with the expectation of growing accounts and sales.

• Develop a pipeline, manage opportunities, and provide forecasts to the management team.
• Regularly meet with customers in person or virtually to explore avenues of partnering and introduce new technology.
• Work closely with marketing teams and demo lab chemists.
• Ensure the health of your current territory (Lombardy) through customer visits and workshops.
• Provide technical advice to customers reviewing their systems needs.
• Review and develop your pipeline on a weekly to monthly basis.
• Assess future pipeline by evaluating interested customers.
• Provide applications support to demo chemists and facility in Manchester.
• Travel throughout the territory of responsibility (Lombardy) with flexibility in account management.

Qualifications

• Experience in a lab or sales position is beneficial.
• Knowledge or qualification in a Scientific discipline, with experience in Liquid Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry.
• Proactive individual committed to customer service and improving processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills to support customers with systems challenges.
