[Hiring] Strategic Account Executive @Microsoft

Role Description

Creates and leads strategies for high-impact/high-profile accounts that yield high-volume sales and open new opportunities for both Microsoft and its partners that are aligned to goals, outcomes, and forecasts.

• Proactively builds and expands strategic network of key internal and external partners and decision makers.
• Develops a broad and deep understanding of customers' industries and priorities.
• Understands customer drivers of business and technology transformation.
• Cultivates, leverages, and manages a strategic set of relationships.
• Leverages a strong knowledge of and experience with Microsoft's product landscape.
• Manages the development and application of a mature/dynamic customer plan.
• Collaborates across organization and partners in discussions to impact the broader ecosystem.
• Expands strategic customer relationships to drive larger impact.
• Anticipates issues/risks on customer satisfaction and establishes recovery action plans.
• Owns the development of strategies that showcase the value added by Microsoft's innovative cloud offerings.
• Leverages internal network of industry experts to strengthen knowledge of the industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in an industry or driving digital transformation OR Master's Degree AND 9+ years experience OR 13+ years experience OR equivalent experience.
• 6+ years experience making recommendations to and/or collaborating with mid-to-senior level executives.
• 8+ years experience closing large, complex agreements/deals.

Benefits

• The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,000 - $222,700 per year.
• In specific locations, such as the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range is USD $170,300 - $239,800 per year.
• Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
