[Hiring] State & Local Government Account Specialist @Pitney Bowes

Role Description

As a remote-based State & Local Government Account Specialist at Pitney Bowes, you will be responsible for maintaining client relationships and supporting client needs promptly and with the highest level of accuracy. Your responsibilities include:

• Managing AR receivables and account cleansing.
• Streamlining support aligned with growth initiatives (e.g., automation, digital acceleration, and self-serve).
• Building strong rapport with large State & Local government agency clients.
• Partnering internally with Sales and other stakeholders to address all client needs.
• Handling sensitive financial data for clients, requiring a credit review in the background screening process.

Qualifications

• 2+ years client service experience.
• Prior account management, contract management, and/or billing reconciliation and collections experience is a plus.
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite experience preferred (pivot tables, vlookups, etc).
• Excellent professional written and oral communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others.
• Attention to detail; excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
