[Hiring] Manager, Cell & Gene Sourcing @Cencora

Role Description

We have an exciting role as a Manager, Cell and Gene Sourcing, this role will be responsible for managing the business relationship between Cencora and our cell and gene therapy suppliers.

• Work directly with outside pharmaceutical suppliers regarding policies, issues, and profitability.
• Negotiate contracts and establish sourcing relationships.
• Manage customer-related programs for cell & gene therapy.
• Resolve work issues relative to the trading relationship.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Credit, Customer Service, and other Procurement entities.
• Manage trade affairs with key strategic suppliers, including negotiating business agreements and settling disputes.
• Represent Cencora favorably with suppliers and advocate for Cencora's interests.
• Support business development and educational activities for assigned suppliers.
• Manage several contracting programs resulting in increased value for both Cencora and its customers.

Qualifications

• Broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• 4+ years of experience in account management, sales, project management, category management, or a related field required.
• Outstanding knowledge of product and supplier base, product relationships, and industry trends.
• Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to work collaboratively across the organization and manage multiple projects of various diverse scope in a cross-functional environment.
• Ability to deal with confrontational issues in a positive manner.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Excellent negotiating skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills; attention to detail.
• Ability to implement processes resulting in satisfactory audit practices.
• Strong computer skills in order to operate effectively with company systems and programs; knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
