[Hiring] Junior Account Manager @RateHawk

Role Description

As a Junior Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and developing relationships with our clients and consolidating our presence on the local market. This is a remote vacancy open to candidates residing in Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Hungary.

• Maintain and develop collaborative relationships with existing and newly contracted partners, including tour operators, travel agencies, travel management companies, and online travel agencies, with the objective of increasing partner performance and engagement.
• Collaborate with the sales function to identify, assess, and support growth opportunities in the defined territory, contributing expertise on market trends and partner needs.
• Conduct follow-up communications with current and prospective partners for the purpose of providing system training and enhancing partners’ understanding and utilization of provided platforms.
• Position and promote the client’s brand within the travel trade sector through the delivery of ongoing product presentations and representation at relevant industry networking events.
• Advise on the resolution of incident-related matters affecting partners, facilitating support and ensuring timely communication between involved parties.
• Oversee payment-related processes on behalf of the client, including the verification and control of transactions, and provide recommendations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of payment operations.
• Prepare and submit regular comprehensive reports utilizing the client’s CRM and internal systems, offering analysis and insights regarding partner activities, market developments, and other relevant metrics.

Qualifications

• Relevant Experience: Minimum of 1 year of successful experience in account or customer management, or in business development for B2B companies within the travel industry.
• Market Knowledge: Understanding of the region's travel market, including B2B travel networks (tour operators, travel agencies, travel management companies, OTAs).
• Language knowledge: Fluent in Polish and English, other languages are advantageous.
• Travel Requirements: Up to 10% of travel time may be required.
• Analytical skills: Used to data-driven decision-making, metrics-driven and good with numbers.
• Personal skills: Proactive, ambitious, motivated, action-oriented, results-focused, appetite for innovative technology, comfortable with the fast-changing business environment, team player.
• International mindset: Ability to understand and work across a wide range of cultural contexts reflecting ETG’s global presence.
